Landscape Architect or Designer Position: 2 – 5 Years Experience

Aune Fernandez Landscape Architects (AFLA) is an award-winning landscape architecture office based in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul, MN. We have been in operation since 2013 and we are excited to expand our employee base. Our design work ranges across a large breadth of project types and scales. We like to keep it interesting and enjoy working on different project types including parks, urban design, housing, commercial, campus, residential, interpretive design, public art, and other project types. We take a design first approach to all our projects.
Job Description:
We are looking for professionals who are interested in working in a wide range of roles within our firm. Our approach places employees in positions to build on their strengths while providing opportunities to work on new skills. These responsibilities may include document production, construction administration, proposal development, graphic design, research, presentations, client engagement, planning and design, among many other needs that come up on a regular basis. Well-developed skills in document production and rendering are preferred, but we are looking for the right fit rather than a specific skill set.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of professional experience
Ability to efficiently work collaboratively and independently
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong graphic representation and AutoCAD skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup
